These are a few examples of the recordings I made in my home recording studio. I performed, recorded and mixed them myself. In addition to my regular YouTube channel “Miki Saito”, I added a new channel in 2020 named “benkyo beats” where I post all of my recordings designed to be played while you study or work.

Piano Accompaniment

“Gesu Bambino” by Pietro Yon

I posted this video on YouTube in early December, 2019 and it took off like a rocket due to the fact that there were not many karaoke versions of this popular Italian Christmas song online or anywhere. As a result, my channel got 1.9K views in the month of December. Some of the comments received for the video: “THANK YOU!! I have been searching for this”, “Your song helped me practice for my concert”, “I sing at this exact tempo and used this track for my concert. Thank you and Merry Christmas!”.

“Path of the Wind (風の通り道)”

This is my arrangement of Path of the Wind (風の通り道) from the Studio Ghibli movie (anime), My Neighbor Totoro (となりのトトロ). This video has more than 4,000 views on YouTube.

This is a karaoke version of “Singularity” by BTS. I also recorded another version of this song in higher key for female BTS fans.

My students requested me to post a vocal warm up exercise video so that they can do the same warm up they do with me during their lessons at home. I also created one for soprano voices.

This is a piano cover of BTS’s song. I arranged, performed, recorded and uploaded on YouTube the day BTS released this song. The video is posted on my YouTube channel called “benkyo beats”. The channel is dedicated for music you can play in the background while you study or work.

Japanese Folk Tune Arranged by Miki Saito

“Osaru no kagoya おさるのかごや”

I arranged, played all the instruments, sang and recorded this very cute Japanese song. I used to sing it when I was young and enjoyed making this version. It has received 1.3k views on YouTube and still going strong.
